In a post on his Instagram account, Raphael said that he could never forget his mother.

The actress died from endometrial cancer on August 5, 2022 in New York City where she has been living for the past several months at the time of her death.

In Raphael’s post, he called his mom his rose, light and love.

“My rose, my light, my love, my Cherie Amor,” Raphael wrote.

He also called Cherie his “forever Valentine.”

“My forever Valentine ,” the actress’ son wrote.
