In his apology, Willie admitted that he judged Cristy’s “yabang” remark about him too quickly.
He also revealed that when the two of them talked to each other early Wednesday morning, they had an argument.
“Nagkausap kami ni Tita Cristy kanina, nagsigawan kami. Nagmurahan kami. Parang mag-ina na nagtatampuhan hanggang humingi ako ng tawad sa kanya at sa mga anak niyang nasaktan,” he stated.
During “Cristy Ferminute” on Thursday, Cristy then reacted, “Ipinagpapasalamat ko po sa Diyos na ang aking puso ay hinulma niya sa isang paraan na napakadali kong magpatawad.”
“Ang sabi ni Willie humingi na siya ng tawad. Totoo naman po 'yan at ako po ay nagpapasalamat. Maaaring salat po ako sa yaman, kapos na kapos po ako sa mga materyal na bagay, pero napakayaman ko po sa pagtanggap ng panghihingi ng tawad ng aking kapwa. 'Yan naman po ay tinatanggap ko nang 100 porsyento.”
Cristy went on to debunk Willie’s claim that they threw cuss words at each other.
“Bagaman sa pagkakataon pong ito ay meron pa rin po akong lilinawin na maaaring hindi niya nabanggit,” she aired.
“Hindi po kami nagmurahan. Hindi ko po ipinagmamalaki at pinagsisihan ko na po at ipinanghingi ko na po ng tawad sa Panginoon. Ako lang po ang nagmura sa kanya. Hindi po ako minura ni Willie Revillame. Kaya hindi po tama 'yung ginamit niyang salitang nagkamurahan kami.”
“Nagkasigawan. Maaaring nagkataasan kami ng tono pero hindi po kami nagmurahan,” the columnist stressed.
