Boy Abunda, in a video posted by GMA Network on YouTube, reacted to the viral memes about him on social media.
In the two-minute video, Boy could not help but laugh at every meme being shown to him.
“What a brilliant actor. Pero tawa ako nang tawa diyan… 'Yun lang ang reaskyon ko. Parang, 'Wow that's Samuel Jackson,’” he commented on the 'lights on, lights off' meme featuring him and American actor Samuel Jackson.
“Ito naman, 'yung basketball na ito... nakakaaliw 'yung how people can be so creative,” Boy said about the meme showing him playing basketball.

When a meme with text “Boy Abundoll” was shown to him, the King of Talk reacted, “Alam mo, I'm seeing this for the first time. I haven't seen this. Parang hindi ako photogenic masyado as a doll.”
“Toy Abunda. Nakakaaliw. Aliw na aliw ako. Tuwang-tuwa ako. Sana meron ano, merchandising, benta tayo,” he expressed as he reacted to a “Toy Abunda” meme.

Boy Abunda is one of the most prominent celebrities in the Philippines. He is dubbed the “King of Talk” because of his excellence in interviewing people.
He inked a new contract with the Kapuso network on Thursday, Dec. 15. and GMA-7 took to its social media page to post a video and photos of the contract signing event. The “King of Talk” started his career in 1994 with GMA and later transferred to ABS-CBN in 1999.

Last year, Boy appeared on a digital billboard in Times Square. The billboard on the commercial intersection in New York showed him promoting a sustainable and ethical fashion brand. The ad also showcased a “Philippine-made product that brings alive the story of ancient Filipino craftsmanship”. The King of Talk, on the other hand, felt elated seeing the said billboard personally.
