Ogie Diaz, in his latest showbiz video, revealed that he actually contacted Carlo Aquino hours after his viral interview with Trina Candaza.
In the video, Ogie told his co-host, 'Mama' Loi Villarama that he received a comment from a netizen on why he only interviewed Trina.
Following this news, KAMI learned that the talent manager actually talked to Carlo about doing an interview with him.
"May nag-comment [na] bakit ko raw hindi kinuha yung panig ni Carlo Aquino. Bakit daw hindi man lang daw ako nag-effort," Ogie said.

He then clarified, "Nag-effort po ako. Pagkalabas po after two hours ng aking panayam kay Trina Candaza ay nag-DM po ako kay Carlo kasi nagta-try ako. Sabi ko, 'Magta-try lang ako kung pwede kitang ma-interview.'"
Upon hearing this, Loi asked, "Sumagot nay?" to which Ogie revealed that Carlo actually responded to his DM.
"Ay oo. Sumagot, sabi ni Carlo, pass daw muna siya. Di raw muna siya magi-interview. So naintindihan ko naman at tanggap ko naman yun kung ayaw magpa-interview ni Carlo. Siguro gusto na niyang manahimik o wala rin namang katapusan kung magsasagutan sila," he said.

He was known as “Pekto” in the popular TV sitcom, “Palibhasa Lalaki.” He is also the man behind the YouTube channel, “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update.” He later went on to become a successful talent manager and once handled the careers of Vice Ganda and Liza Soberano.

According to Ogie, if one would observe closely, Elisse and McCoy kept looking at each other. This prompted Ogie to say, "Naniniwala ako na sa isang relasyon, hindi naman normal na hindi nag-aaway."
