Alex Gonzaga, who has recently been under the spotlight, was mentioned by Cristy Fermin in the latest episode of 'Showbiz Now Na' online.

In the said episode, KAMI learned that Cristy mentioned an ongoing rumor about the actress and her advertisements.

During their discussion, Cristy's sources claimed that Alex no longer has any contracts to sign with regards to advertisements.

"Alam mo, may kwento ring kumakalat ngayon ano, at gusto kong paniwalaan. Kasi sa mundo ng advertising, kaya sila nagpapa-survey, syempre napakahalaga ng mamimili diba?" she began.

In the said showbiz video, Cristy even explained that advertising is the life of most, if not, all brands nowadays.

Eventually, Cristy told Romel Chika and Wendell Alvarez that no big brands are trying to get Alex allegedly, as per her sources.

"Yun ang buhay nila. Kapag inalok nila ang isang artista o isang produkto, kailangan gusto ng mamimili. May balita ah, si Alex, wala ng pipirmahan. Wala ng kumukuha sa kanya sa advertising. Puro independent lang daw ang meron si Alex ngayon. Pero yun malalaki talaga, wala nang kumukuha sa kanya," she said.

She also appeared to be prideful and boastful before due to her attempts to hide her insecurities.
