Vhong Navarro, emosyonal sa pagbabalik niya sa ‘It’s Showtime’

Vhong Navarro finally returned to “It’s Showtime” on Monday, January 16, which is more than a month after he was released from detention.
His co-hosts welcomed him back to the show’s stage while they were singing “I'll Be There For You” by The Moffatts.
During his comeback, Vhong could not help but get emotional and shed tears.

“Share ko lang din konti. Pagpasok ko dito sa ABS, sabi ko ayokong umiyak, ayokong umiyak. Kasi ito 'yung pangalawang bahay ko e. Dito, kung ano man ang pinagdaraanan mo sa buhay, tanggap ka rito. Dahil ito 'yung mga kapatid ko e, ito 'yung pamilya ko. At kasama roon ang Madlang People, extension kayo ng pamilya namin. Kaya lang, pagdating ko dito sa backstage, wala e, talagang bumabagsak talaga siya e,” he opened up.
He likewise expressed, “Ang sarap ng pagtanggap niyo sa'kin. Hindi ko alam kung paano kayo pasasalamatan. Sa mga taong nagdasal, naniwala at hindi ako iniwan.”
“Hindi kasi ako nanood ng 'Showtime' noong nasa loob ako kasi ayokong makadagdag na, nami-miss ko kasi kayo e. Ayoko, nalulungkot ako lalo kaya iniiwasan kong manood. Kaya siguro sabi ko manonood na lang ako kapag nakalabas ako. Kaya lang paglabas ko, hindi ko pa kayang bumalik pala agad kasi may mga prosesong kailangang gawin. Pero mabait ang Panginoon e, talagang hindi niya ako pinabayaan kaya andito ako uli.”
Furthermore, Vhong expressed gratitude to those who have been showing love and support for him, including the ABS-CBN network and his “It’s Showtime” family, among others.
Vhong is a Filipino comedian, actor, dancer, singer, judge, and TV host of ABS-CBN Entertainment Groups. He was part of the dance group Streetboys in the Philippines. He is one of the pioneer hosts of the noontime variety show, "It's Showtime."
In a previous report by KAMI, Vhong Navarro created a buzz because of his post on Christmas day. In his post, the actor aired gratitude to those who showed love and support for him. Cristy Fermin then took to his radio program, “Cristy Ferminute,” to react to Vhong’s post. The veteran showbiz columnist said she is happy for Vhong, who was able to spend Christmas with his family.
Earlier, Ogie Diaz and Mama Loi talked about Vhong in an episode of “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update." In the vlog, Ogie said he was able to speak with the actor recently. As per Ogie, Vhong told him that the television host wants to enjoy spending time with his family first before returning to “It’s Showtime." It was just last December 6 when Vhong was released from the Taguig City Jail after posting P1 million bail.
