MJ Lastimosa recently had a viral tweet which she posted while she was attending the Miss Universe 2022 pageant as an audience yesterday in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Some moments after Celeste Cortesi failed to enter the semifinals of the prestigious competition, MJ posted, “Balik pala ko ulit sayang ticket.”

However, many netizens seemed not to like MJ’s tweet, prompting the beauty queen to pen another tweet and make some clarifications.

“Sobrang walang comprehension ng mga tao here huhu. Pano ko po iiwan si Celeste anjan po sya sa backstage till the pageant ends. Wala po pwedeng umalis. And di rin po ako pwede sa backstage, anong gagawin ko? Juskwa kayo! Ayan zinozoom in ko pa sya,” MJ wrote.

Meanwhile, MJ took to her Instagram page to pen a heartfelt message for Celeste.

However, one netizen wrote a comment to question MJ’s “sayang ticket” tweet.

“Navash kna po sa page Ng Abs xbn. May caption ka Sayang ticket mo, bat Naman po ganun? Mabasa po ni celestine un mahurt sya,” the netizen’s comment reads.

To which MJ replied, “Mas mahurt sya na hindi nyo yun naintindihan sizt.”

Celeste Cortesi was born on December 15, 1997 to a Filipino mother and an Italian father. The beauty queen from Pasay first made her presence known in the local pageant scene through the Miss Earth Philippines 2018 competition. She became even more well-known after winning the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 pageant. The 25-year-old stunner grew up in Italy and moved to the Philippines to pursue pageantry.
