Video of Derek Ramsay patiently teaching Elias to ski goes viral: “Effort and patience”

Elias Modesto, the son of Ellen Adarna, had his first ski experience in the arctic.

The family is in Lapland, enjoying a true winter wonderland.

One of the winter sports that they engaged in was skiing and Elias was all game for it.

It was Derek Ramsay who became his first coach and the patience that he put in did not escape the eyes of his wife.

There was a rollercoaster of emotions, according to Ellen.

"Babas first time skiing. ⛷️We really tried our best the roller coaster of emotions felt like doing a black diamond ," Ellen narrated.

In the caption, she also commended Derek for his effort and patience.

"A+++ to Papa D @ramsayderek07 for effort and patience lol we love you! ❤️❤️," the actress said.

She said Elias would be having a proper ski instructor the following day.

"Tomorrow will be Elias’ proper ski lesson with an instructor because Derek and i aint pros ," Ellen concluded.

Derek is one of the most sought-after leading men in the Philippines. He starred in many critically-acclaimed films such as "No Other Woman" and "English Only, Please.” Derek’s celebrity ex-girlfriends include Angelica Panganiban, Solenn Heussaff, Cristine Reyes, Joanne Villablanca, and Andrea Torres. Recently, Derek trended all over social media with his latest Instagram story. On the photo-sharing app, the celebrity dad reposted his dance video which was taken by Louise Tabaquero. In the viral video, Derek could be seen dancing to the viral 'Ting Ting Tang Tang' song on TikTok. Needless to say, the said video delighted many of his fans and followers on social media.

In a separate post, Derek's wife, Ellen Adarna, took to Instagram Stories to show the "ice burn or snow burn" that she got. The whole family is spending their vacation in Lapland, which is actually considered the hometown of Santa Claus. She has been skiing and indulging in wonderful snow activities, including a sleigh ride with real reindeer. The actress said that she loves the cold but the snow burn that she got was something else.
