Lolit Solis penned a commentary on Paolo Contis, who has become estranged from his daughter with ex-partner LJ Reyes and his kids with his ex-wife Lian Paz.

In a past interview, LJ said that she decided to go to the US with Summer and her son from a previous relationship to protect them mentally and emotionally, as reported by PUSH.
PEP.ph also reported about Lian accusing Paolo of a lack of financial support since their separation many years ago.
“Nasa news na naman si Paolo Contis Salve. Talagang hangga ngayon ay hindi siya makalayo sa shadow ng mga naging anak niya kay Lian Paz at LJ Reyes. Mabuti naman at tahimik ang issue sa mga anak niya kay Lian, at ang maingay lang iyon kay LJ. Lahat ng anak ni Paolo Contis ay mahal niya at pinipilit niyang maging maayos ang relasyon niya sa mga ina nito.
“Hindi niya gustong masali si Yen Santos sa issue dahil wala naman kinalaman ito. Kaya nga lang hindi naman niya control ang media, ang pag iisip ng mga tao.
“Hindi rin alam ni Paolo Contis kung ano ang gagawin sa sitwasyon niya. Siyempre anak niya ang mga bata at lagi din nasa isip niya. Sayang nga at nasa USA si Summer kaya hindi niya madalas makita, kaya ngayon gumagawa siya ng paraan para makita ito.
“Kahit ano pa sabihin, gusto din ni Paolo Contis gampanan ang pagiging ama sa mga anak niya. Nandiyan parin siya at gustong ipaalam na anytime, puwede siyang magbigay oras sa mga ito. Kung happy go lucky ang image ni Paolo, pagdating sa anak, isa siyang responsableng ama.
“Kaya naman sana mabigyan siya ng pagkakataon ipakita ito at ipadama sa kanyang mga anak. Go Paolo, ganyan nga, ikaw parin ang father nila. Hindi nila puwede alisin sa iyo ang pagiging father nila. Forever CONTIS sila, hanggang lumaki,” Lolit posted.
