The Miss Universe Organization has unveiled the new hosts and backstage commentators of the 71st Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo and television host Jeannie Mai Jenkins are confirmed to be the prestigious pageant’s hosts, taking over hosting duties from Steve Harvey.

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and Emmy award-winner and "American Ninja Warrior” co-host Zuri Hall, on the other hand, will serve as backstage commentators.

The Philippines' fourth MU winner, Catriona, then took to social media to express how elated she is to be a part of the all-female lineup.

“It's official! I'll see you all at @missuniverse as your Backstage Host for this year's 71st Miss Universe in New Orleans, USA!” she posted on her social media pages.

“So excited to be a part of the beginning of another empowered women's journey!” The beauty queen expressed.

The pageant’s coronation night will be on January 14 at 7:00 p.m. (January 15, 9:00 a.m. in the Philippines).

Catriona Gray is a beauty queen, singer, performer, host and endorser in the Philippines. She rose to fame after winning Miss Universe 2018 representing the Philippines. Catriona is in a relationship with actor Sam Milby.

They were quick to fill in Cat's iconic pageant answers with an empanada theme. Some of them really tickled the fancy of the beauty queen that she just had to share them with her followers.

Meanwhile, Catriona shared on Instagram some glimpses of her new house. The former Miss Universe is filled with joy since her new abode reflects her personality and creativity. She recently apologized to her fans for not being active on social media. Catriona explained that she has been extremely busy lately because she was moving to a new house.
