Gary Valenciano took to Twitter and gave a heartfelt message for PGT grand winner, Jovit Baldivino, who passed away on Dec. 9, at around 4 a.m. at the Jesus of Nazareth Hospital in Batangas.

The premier singer said that he still can't believe that the 29-year-old singer has already passed.

He said that he would always wait to hear the parts of Jovit on ASAP.

"Parang I still can’t believe this. I’ll never forget how I would always wait to hear his parts in ASAP."

Gary also noted that Jovit has always got to prove why he was the champion of Pilipinas Got Talent and that eh would always try to encourage the younger singer to just keep on shining.

"He always got to prove why he was Pilipinas Got Talent’s champion. I always always always would try to encourage him to keep shining."

His final message for Jovit was to sing for Jesus when he sees Him.

"Sing for Jesus when you see Him Jovit."

Jovit Baldivino was a Filipino singer who was propelled into the limelight when he joined the reality TV Show, Pilipinas Got Talent. He also won a prestigious competition in 2010. He has been performing all over the Philippines in fiestas and other events.

He passed away at a young age of 29 on Dec. 9. The singer was the first-ever grand winner of PGT, who bagged the P2 million grand prize. His grand finals performance in 2010 where he sang "Too Much Love Will Kill You" was revisited by netizens. Jovit, at the time, garnered the majority of the votes overnight, making him the grand winner and propelling him to stardom.

His sudden passing has stunned several netizens all over social media. Recently, on Twitter, MJ Felipe released a series of posts regarding the late singer's final moments. As per his report, the late singer was revealed to have been invited by a family friend from Batangas City. Reports state that Jovit still sang three songs for the crowd even though he was advised not to sing while recuperating.
