She expressed how grateful she is for her Star Magic family.

During the time of the pandemic, she said that she did not think twice about signing a 2-year contract with ABS-CBN, a station that just lost its franchise because for her, it was the perfect timing to show her love and loyalty to ABS-CBN.

"Nung nabigyan ako ng opportunity to sign a 2 year contract again with @abscbn during the pandemic hindi ako nagdalawang isip to sign, why? number 1 it would have been the worst time to sign up with the station na nawalan ng prankisa. But it was the perfect timing for me to express my love, my loyalty para sa istasyon na nagpalaki sa akin at tumayo at lumaban kasama ang mga tao na nagpalaki sa akin through the years."

Shaina Garcia Magdayao is a Pinay actress, singer, dancer, and model. She was born on November 6, 1989 in Quezon City, Philippines. At present, Shaina is under Star Magic and is a talent of ABS-CBN. She started her career in showbiz with the Philippine TV drama series, "Lyra".

Shaina shared in a social media post the effects on her face of a heavy scene in the series ‘Ang Probinsyano.’ In the said scene, Shaina’s character was assaulted by a villain portrayed by Raymond Bagatsing. According to the actress, the scene was so heavy that it “caused the popping” of her face’s blood vessels. She assured her fans and followers that her face is fully healed now.

She also tested negative for COVID-19, days after testing positive and isolating herself. The star said that her symptoms weren’t mild and that she seemed to have experienced most of the symptoms of the virus. Although she has now recovered, Shaina is still feeling a bit weak after her ordeal. However, the actress feels she is ready now to go back to work as a cast member of “Ang Probinsyano.”
