Cristy Fermin recently reacted to Jennylyn Mercado's viral post on her Instagram page about the meat she allegedly bought from S&R.

In the latest episode of 'Cristy Ferminute' online, KAMI learned that Cristy discussed the matter with her co-host, Romel Chika.

According to the two, Jennylyn has been put under the spotlight by her bashers because of her viral post about the purchased meat.

At the beginning of their discussion, Cristy recalled Jennylyn's post and how the latter took the matter to social media.

"Bumili ka o nagpabili ka o nag-order ka ng karneng hilado, mangitim-ngitim na siguro, maberde-berde o kung anumang kulay yan, kahit rainbow color pa. Tapos nung iluluto mo na, bigla ka nag-post, safe pa raw bang kainin at iluto yun?" she recalled.

However, for the veteran columnist, it would have been better if Jennylyn directly called the office of S&R regarding the incident.

"Ano ba naman yun tumawag ka sa opisina nung pinagbilihan mo na napakalaking pamilihan at itanong mo, 'Bakit kaya ganito itong nabili ko sa inyo na ganito ganyan?' Kasi para sa kaligtasan niya yun, tama yun eh, tama yung i-check mo yung pinamimili mo at binabayaran mo yan. Dapat mo lang na tanungin yung pinagbilihan mo kung okay pa bang iluto at kainin. Tama yun. Pero para i-post mo pa sa iyong account," she said.

Furthermore, Cristy said that if Jennylyn was the one buying the product, she should have spotted it at a closer look.

"Diba dapat kapag ikaw ang namimili, pagkita mo pa lang sa produkto, 'Ay parang nangingitim na ito. Di na 'to sariwa,'" she said before adding, "Kaya siya tinatawag na papansin o KSP."
