Vhong Navarro is making headlines due to news about him being transferred from the NBI Detention Center to the Taguig City Jail yesterday.

Photos and videos of the said transfer likewise made the rounds on social media.

In the latest episode of “Cristy Ferminute,” Cristy Fermin and Romel Chika had a discussion about the news.

Cristy said it was painful to see Vhong with his arms handcuffed.

“'Yung tinakpan ng panyo o twalya 'yung kanyang mga kamay, opo, totoo po 'yan na kailangang gawin ng mga taga-NBI 'yan. Kasama po 'yan sa protocol,” she aired.

“Pero napakasakit po kasing tanggapin na ang isang kasama namin sa industriya ay makikita namin talaga na nakaposas. Diba napakasakit no'n? Sa totoo lang,” the veteran showbiz columnist further expressed.

Vhong is a Filipino comedian, actor, dancer, singer, judge, and TV host of ABS-CBN Entertainment Groups. He was part of the dance group Streetboys in the Philippines. He is one of the pioneer hosts of the noontime variety show, "It's Showtime."

Vhong was transferred to the Taguig City Jail from the NBI Detention Center. A video of him being ushered out of the detention center was shared by ABS-CBN news reporter Niko Baua. Another video was subsequently shared, which showed Tanya Bautista, Vhong's wife, going with him during the transfer.

Vhong's former wife, actress Bianca Lapus, then published a solemn Instagram story. Her post shows a Bible verse from the Book of Psalms, where the psalmist prays to be delivered from ungodly people and injustice. In the caption, Bianca wrote "for Vhong" along with an emoji that depicts praying hands. Before the said IG story, Bianca also shared cryptic posts about justice.
