Maxene Magalona, 35, has stirred online buzz after dropping a cryptic post on her official social media page about not having to explain herself.

On her Instagram page, @maxenemagalona, KAMI learned that the actress reposted a quote from the page of @the_higher_self_.

Based on the quote card that Maxene had posted, it talked about not having the energy to explain one's self to others.

As seen in her reposted Instagram story, the quote card talked about how one spent a big portion of their lives apologizing to people who never understood them.

It also mentioned how one knows that their intentions are pure and that if people don't get them, then they are good with it.

Read it here: "I've reached a point in my life where I don't even have the energy to explain to people why I am the way that I am. I wasn't always like that. As a matter of fact, I spent a big portion of my life apologizing to people who never made an effort to acknowledge or understand my heart. I enjoy my own company, I sleep peacefully at night, I know my intentions are pure, and if people don't get me, then I'm good with it."

Maxene Magalona is an actress and social media star in the Philippines. Her father is the late rap legend, Francis Magalona. The actress revealed in May 2020 that she has been seeing a psychiatrist due to her mental illness.
