Kean Cipriano, the ex-frontman of the now-defunct band Callalily, said in an interview that his family is his top priority nowadays.

He made the admission during an interview with Ogie Diaz for the latter’s YouTube channel.

Kean said that before, his number one priority is his career and his former band, with whom he dedicated 17 years of his life.

However, he admitted everything changed when he got married and started a family.

The former Callalily frontman said that everything, including his career and passion, suddenly became secondary and were all supplanted by family.

“Pero no'ng nagkapamilya 'ko, lahat naging secondary. Yung career, secondary, ito yung pamilya ko more than anything I choose my family kahit ano pa yan, diba parang ganun,” the OPM artist said.

He also revealed he doesn’t want to be regretful in the future if he gave all his time to his career instead of his family.

Kean expressed belief he made the best choice with his family.

“Ayoko nang magkaroon ng pagsisisi rin ako na kaysa ibinigay ko sa mga anak ko o kay Chynna 'yung oras, Nando'n lang ako sa trabaho the whole time. Na-feel ko lang na hindi ko kayang mawala sa kanila ng matagal kasi alam kong kailangan nila ako. Sila yung best choice ko, kahit gaano pa kaganda yung project,” Kean said.

Ogie is a comedian and a talent manager who once handled the careers of Vice Ganda and Liza Soberano. He is also among the most outspoken celebs as he will not mince words when he comments on something, whether it be in showbiz or politics.

Kean admitted that he would just laugh whenever he remembers his alleged past relationship with Alex Gonzaga. This is what the former frontman of the now-defunct band, Callalily, said in an interview with Ogie Diaz. The former Callalily frontman, however, was quick to clarify that his so-called relationship with Alex Gonzaga never went past beyond friendship. He also said that it’s natural he would be very close with Alex as she’s the person he’s worked with for the longest time in showbiz.
