- Bela Padilla felt like she was being pranked at the airport after witnessing a scene that seemed to be taken out from the movie “Home Alone”

- She said that aside from the incident being similar to the airport scene in the said movie, the people involved also have the same surnames as the characters in the film

- The actress and director then narrated what transpired while lining up for the automatic baggage drop

- After the incident, Bela half-expected actor Macaulay Culkin to show up and announce the prank

Bela Padilla, in her post on IG Stories, admitted she felt like she was being pranked at the airport after witnessing a scene that appeared to have been taken out from the movie “Home Alone.”

She said that apart from the incident being similar to the airport scene in the popular holiday movie, the people involved surprisingly also share the same surnames as the characters in the film.

The actress then narrated what happened as she lined up for the automatic baggage drop.

“Funny story at the airport today. I lined up for an automatic baggage drop off cause it's honestly faster,” Bela wrote in her post.

“In front of me are two young ladies and in front of them are a couple. The couple put their bag through and the ladies in front of me accidentally printed the couples’ second bag tag and put it on their luggage,” she further wrote.

“A lot of discussion ensued with the staff who approached because the couple left quickly and went through security already,” the actress director said.
“The staff had to find them and inform them of the situation and they looked through the system and their surname is McCallister,” she narrated.

“I kid you not I felt like I was being pranked and Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) would show up,” Bela admitted, recalling the famous airport scene where the MacCallister family rushed to check in only to find out they left eight-year-old Kevin, portrayed by Macaulay Culkin, back at home."

In another post, she also showed everyone how "kuripot" she really is. The actress and director said that as she was writing, she was in her cold living room in London. She was wearing a thick robe and coupled with a warm blanket. The reason she gave was she was just too "kuripot" or perhaps stubborn to turn the heater on at 3 pm.
