Ogie Diaz took to his online talk show, “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update,” to react to Ronnie Liang’s recent trending post.

In the said post, the actor expressed his dismay over getting offered to do adult movies.

Ogie then aired his honest thoughts on the post, which drew a lot of mixed reactions.

“At the end of the day, nagwagi pa rin si Ronnie Liang tanggapin man natin 'yan o hindi. Kasi 'yung post niya, naapektuhan ang karamihan, ang sensibilidad ng karamihan,” the talent manager said.

He further said, “Maraming nag-react, ibig sabihin, naapektuhan sila at halo 'yung opinyon. Na 'yung iba, tama lang si Ronnie Liang. 'Yung iba naman mali lang.”

Mama Ogs then went on to express respect for Ronnie’s opinion and the sentiments of those who are against the singer-actor’s belief.

“Hindi naman natin ini-invalidate 'yung sinasabi ni Ronnie Liang in the same way na hindi rin naman natin ini-invalidate 'yung punto ng ibang mga umaayaw kay Ronnie Liang. E 'yun ang kanyang punto de vista e.”

Ronnie Liang is a Filipino singer, actor and pilot. He is known for his popular single, "Ngiti." He is currently a reservist with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Philippine Army.

Additionally, Ronnie has a lot of things to do since he is an army reservist officer, a master’s degree holder, and a brand ambassador for some companies. Ronnie added that as a Christian who values self-respect and respect from his peers, he could never accept offers to do daring roles.

John Lapus then took to Twitter and commented on the statement of Ronnie about being offered to do adult movies. The comedian asked if those who are doing such movies don't have self-respect. That was his only comment followed by a zany face emoji that is often used to express silliness.
