Rita Gaviola, also known as Badjao Girl, featured her partner on the latest episode of her YouTube vlog.

During the episode, the couple reacted to a basher who said that Rita’s partner seems to be a homosexual.

Rita denied that her boyfriend is gay, saying that he just acts and talks gently.

The social media star also joked that he will still accept his boyfriend even if he turned out to be gay.

“Hindi siya beki guys. Ganyan lang talaga siya kumilos at magsalita.

“Pero kahit bakla man siya, tatanggapin ko pa rin siya,” Rita said.

Furthermore, one netizen said that Rita should have chosen a famous person to be her partner instead of a non-showbiz guy.

Rita replied that she chose to love her partner because he also loves her and is willing to fight for her. She added that being famous and wealthy are not the qualities she is looking for in a boyfriend.

“Unang-una, hindi natin natuturuan ang puso kung sino yung mamahalin natin.

“Siguro yung ibang tao naka-base sa pera. Lagi niyong tatandaan yung pera mahalaga pero hindi nyan mabibili yung kaligayahan.

“Ako yung nagdesisyon kung sinong mamahalin ko at yung taong pinili ko, pinaglaban ako.

“Hindi ko kailangan ng artista o sikat, ang kailangan ko yung taong mahal ako at tanggap ako ng buo,” Rita explained.

Rita Gaviola rose to fame when her photos during a festival in Lucban, Quezon were uploaded online. That was also the start of a better life for her. She got more popular when she joined Pinoy Big Brother 7. As of this writing, Rita has 198,000 followers on Instagram and nearly 1 million followers on TikTok.

Rita made headlines recently after announcing that she is now a mom. She took to social media to share posts that show her cradling her baby. Some bashers, however, wrote unsolicited comments on her posts which prompted Rita to reply. In one of her replies, the first-time mom said she is proud of herself for not resorting to abortion “para lang sa career."

Rita also aired her reaction to the bashings she received when she announced that she is now a parent. During her guesting on Eat Bulaga’s “Bawal Judgmental” segment, Rita could not help but cry while sharing how she handles her bashers. She likewise shared some of the rude comments she read about her. The celebrity mom also urged her detractors to spare her baby from bashing.
