Herlene Budol leaves for Uganda; all set to represent PH in Miss Planet International

Herlene Budol, popularly known as “Hipon Girl,” is all set to compete as the Philippines’ representative in the Miss Planet International pageant.

Clad in yellow co-ords, the actress and beauty queen left the country for Uganda, where the pageant will be held.

Based on her recent online post, Herlene departed for the African nation along with his talent manager, Wilbert Tolentino.

Meanwhile, the Binibining Pilipinas organization published a social media post showing support for Herlene.

“Goodbye for now as Herlene gets ready to say hello to Uganda. Miss Planet International here she comes!” it posted along with photos of Herlene at the airport.

Meanwhile, netizens took to the comment sections of the posts to pen thoughtful messages for Herlene.

Herlene, also known as 'Hipon Girl', is an actress, comedian and social media star who broke through in showbiz as a contestant on “Wowowin”. She later became a host on the said program but had to leave it due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Herlene was first runner-up and won several minor awards at the 2022 Binibining Pilipinas pageant.

Herlene and Ryan recently created a buzz on social media with their recent collaboration. In a vlog published on Ryan's YouTube channel, he and Herlene took on the "jowa challenge". They had a date inside a Korean grocery store, where they also cooked ramen, sat down for a meal and played "titigan challenge". Many netizens took to the comments section to gush over the two celebrities' chemistry.

Herlene is an absolute stunner during her 23rd birthday party. She donned a gorgeous Darna costume at the said party. She also shared on social media a photo of her in the said costume. The actress further shared that it is her dream to wear the superheroine’s outfit on her birthday.
