Cristy Fermin and Romel Chika recently conversed about Vice Ganda, who made headlines due to his absence during the grand finals of It’s Showtime’s “Miss Q&A” segment on Saturday.

In the latest episode of “Cristy Ferminute,” the veteran showbiz columnist wondered whether rumors of a quarrel between Vice Ganda and the show’s production staff are true.

“Totoo ba na may tampuhan si Vice at saka ang produksyon dahil matagal na raw na inilalaban ni Vice Ganda na dapat kumuha sila ng isang malaking lugar kung saan gaganapin 'yung grand finals?” Cristy aired.

To which Romel reacted, "Kasi nga, Nay, diba lahat po ng grand finals na ito ay ginaganap sa malaking venue... At may prestihiyosong mga judges. Eh ngayon, Nay, noong pinanood nu'ng Sabado, parang ordinaryong araw lang ang kanilang grand finals.”

Cristy then expressed that this isn’t the best time to demand something that would add cost to the production.

“Sana hindi na niya hanapan. 'Wag na niyang hanapan, ni Vice, ng mas pagkakagastusan pa 'yung produksyon. Alam naman nila, wala na nga silang prangkisa, itinutuloy na lamang, isinasalba ang programa. Lahat ng maaaring matipid siguro ay ginagawa nila.”

“Huwag nang masyadong choosy. Hindi na ito ang panahon para maging choosy,” she stressed.

Vice Ganda is a famous comedian, actor, endorser, and host in the Philippines. He is best known for hosting “It’s Showtime” and for his commercially successful movies in the MMFF. The superstar is currently in a relationship with Ion Perez. Vice Ganda and Ion got their Certificate of Commitment in a special ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada on Oct. 19, 2021.

Previously, “It’s Showtime” experienced a power outage while it was airing live on Monday. Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis and Jhong Hilario were interviewing a “Miss Q and A” contestant when the interruption occurred. When the power was restored, Vice Ganda could not help but express his hilarious reaction to what happened. A video of the blackout in the show’s studio likewise went viral online.

Earlier, "It's Showtime" co-hosts have expressed support for Vhong Navarro. In the latest episode of the Kapamilya show, Jhong Hilario suddenly mentioned Vhong and gave him an uplifting message. Vice Ganda also invited his fellow hosts to form a group hug for Vhong. The Unkabogable Phenomenal Star likewise added that they will be praying for Vhong.
