During the interview, Nelson asked Dennis who initiated the reconciliation with Jennylyn, who he had a breakup with many years ago.
According to Dennis, it was he who reached out to Jennylyn years after their split in 2011.
The actor revealed that he and Jennylyn never thought that they would become a couple again after the breakup. Now, Dennis and Jennylyn are a married couple and they have a baby girl named Dylan.

“Ayun yung nakakatuwa na nangyari. Yung hindi mo aakalain, tapos hindi mo alam na siya rin pala talaga hanggang sa huli.
“Never ko naman na-imagine. Pareho kami, we never imagined na mangyayari ito sa buhay namin na magkakaroon kami ng happy ending.
“As in hindi pa ending, parang happy start,” Dennis said.
Jennylyn Mercado is an actress, singer, songwriter, host, and commercial model from the Philippines. She entered show business when she participated in GMA Network's reality talent competition, StarStruck, and subsequently won. She gave birth months ago to baby Dylan, her first child with husband Dennis Trillo. The actress has a son named Alex Jazz from her former partner Patrick Garcia.

According to DenJen, they initially visited the hospital for Jen's last prenatal check-up. However, much to their surprise, their doctor informed them that Jen's cervix was already open.
In another report, Jennylyn recently uploaded some photos of herself on her Instagram feed. She shared that she has just started her fitness journey after giving birth a month ago. The celebrity mom's determination can be seen in her pictures. Furthermore, lots of netizens and even some celebrities have shown their support for Jen.
