Sharon Cuneta was visibly emotional as she sang one of her iconic songs, Bituing Walang Ningning for the first time since the passing of Cherie Gil.

On October 16, Sunday, KAMI learned that Sharon uploaded a video of her performance over on Instagram.

In the viral video, the one and only Megastar could be seen wiping away her tears in the middle of the performance.

However, Sharon, being the professional that she is, performed the song with grace and sang it beautifully for the audience.

In the caption of her viral online post, Sharon admitted that she was unsure of how to perform the song ever since her dear friend passed away.

"First time to sing “Bituing Walang Ningning” in a concert since my Cherie passed two months and eleven days ago… Di ko alam paano ko kakantahin kagabi… but I know somehow that she was right beside me," she wrote.

Sharon Cuneta, commonly known as the 'Megastar' in the local showbiz industry, is a prominent and veteran celebrity in the Philippines. She is also the mother of KC Concepcion, her daughter with fellow actor Gabby Concepcion. In 1996, she tied the knot with Kiko Pangilinan.

Following this news, a basher commented on the Megastar's post and called her a hypocrite. This prompted Sharon to clap back at the basher before saying "mema lang."

Meanwhile, Sharon Cuneta just penned the sweetest birthday greeting for her daughter, Miel Pangilinan. On her Instagram account, the one and only Megastar posted several throwback photos of Miel. According to Sharon, she no longer has any "little princesses to dote on" as her daughter turns 18 today, September 2.
