Lolit Solis, in her most recent Instagram post, expressed admiration for the decision of Janella Salvador to be a single mom.

The veteran showbiz columnist said that the actress showed courage and strength in her decision.

Janella’s pronouncement came amid unconfirmed rumors that she and her partner, Markus Paterson, with whom she has a child, have decided to part ways.

“Hanga ako sa desisyon ni Janella Salvador na maging single mom ng humiwalay siya sa kanyang BF, Salve,” Manay Lolit said.

“Ipinakita niya ang tapang at lakas ng loob,” she added.

The veteran columnist, however, took time to give Janella an unsolicited advice on her alleged declaration about not needing, nor asking, any help from anyone.

“Pero huwag niyang sabihin na hindi niya kailangan at never siyang hihingi ng tulong kahit kanino. No man is an island. Hindi ka puwede mabuhay na mag isa ka lang, na walang tutulong sa iyo,” Manay Lolit said.

Nevertheless, she still praised Janella for her decision and prayed that life would now be better for the actress and her son.

Janella Salvador is an actress, endorser, and singer in the Philippines. She rose to fame due to her role in the teleserye “Be Careful With My Heart.”

During an interview with Bernadette Sembrano, Janella openly stated that she is now a single mom. She was asked how she relates to her character in Darna, where she plays dual roles, as Regina and as Valentina. The actress said that she really relates to Regina who is fighting for what she believes in. She also added that like her, she really fights for what she things is right and that is "being a single mom."

Recently, the actress debuted as Valentina in ABS-CBN’s “Mars Ravelo’s Darna” series. The actress' role, Regina, made its first transformation as the supervillain in the series' episode on Thursday. Scenes of Valentina's first appearance in the show also created a huge buzz all over social media. “#DarnaValentina” and "Janella Salvador” likewise became trending topics on Twitter.
