Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray recently shared with her followers the story behind the beautiful dress she wore at the Vogue Philippines Gala.

In a four-minute video posted on her YouTube channel, the beauty queen gave some glimpses of the making of the dress with a floral design made out of recycled plastic bottles.

According to Cat, it was designer Jaggy Glarino's idea to have a sustainable approach to the dress.

“When we talk about Vogue, when we have idea of pushing boundaries in mind, part of it doing something sustainable 'cause I think that's fashion forward,” Jaggy shared.

Catriona likewise told the talented designer, "What I love the dress is that when you look at it, you wouldn't even think that it's made from recycled plastic bottles. 'Cause the craftsmanship that you and your team were able to achieve on the dress is really quite beautiful."
