Cristy Fermin talked about a “trying hard” male personality in an episode of “Cristy Ferminute” aired on August 30.

The veteran showbiz columnist said that her friends have been asking her to respond to the flak of the male personality, whom Cristy opted not to name.

“May nang-uurot pa nga sa'kin na ilang kaibigan, 'Ayan, may boses ka na. Hindi mo ba sasagutin 'yung isang TH, trying hard, na male personality na nagsabing wala ka na nga raw boses, kung anu-ano pa sinasabi mo?'” she shared.

Cristy then went on to air, “Sabi ko, 'Hindi. Hindi naman ako nagpaopera para sagutin siya.'”

“Ako ay nagpaalis ng polyps sa aking lalamunan dahil puhunan ko po ang boses at ito po ay sandata ko sa aking trabaho. Para sa ikabubuti po ng aking health, ng aking kalusugan, hindi para sa kanya,” she further explained.

Cristy Fermin underwent polyp throat surgery last August 15 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Taguig City. The doctors were able to successfully remove a polyp from Cristy’s throat. According to Cristy, she was extremely scared before the operation, which required her to undergo general anesthesia. The biopsy also showed that the polyp removed was not cancerous.
