In a lengthy Instagram post, the actress said she learned that there were ones who bashed her for wearing a stunning bright yellow gown at the event.
“It has come to my attention na may mga nagalit, nainis, nag ba-bash tungkol sa lovely bright @gakuyabykimgan canary yellow gown ko na suot ko noong #GMAThanksgivingGala #GMAGalaNight"
“At ang sabi pa daw, ay gate crasher pa ang dating ko, at nasira ko ang magandang preparation ng gala; really??!”

“Tsk2, ang tao nga naman,” Alice reacted.
“For me (and I also looked it up ha!) ang isang Formal Black and White event is simply that, a formal event. + No where on any of my invitations that I received (attached) did it say you could only wear black and white!” she explained.
“So I’m sorry if I hurt your feelings or sensibilities,” she told the bashers.
“I honestly thought I accomplished what was needed for the night: give thanks, mingle and meet my colleagues and the bosses, and have fun,” she stressed.
Furthermore, Alice penned a frank message to the bashers.
“Kayo mga bashers, anong nagawa nyo??? Pls Lang huwag nmn kasi kayo masyado judgmental. Peace & Thank you.”
In another post, Alice shared a video where she flaunted the gown.
"The song lyrics says it all," she said in the caption, referring to the music she used in the reel.
The said song titled "I Feel Good" by Pink Sweats has lyrics: "Livin' life in color. Everything around me looks so beautiful and sweet"
