Carla Abellana, a known and passionate animal lover, took to Instagram and shared the successful crackdown on illegal dog meat trading, which led to the arrest of "Bitoy," an animal meat trader.

"Kulong ka ngayon" was the victorious caption of the actress, who has constantly posted about helping animals in need.

The suspect, Hernando Polintan, was an employee of the Baranggay Pitpitan’s Materials and Recovery Facility.
