According to Sharon, she is praying to God to add years to her friend’s life.

The Megastar said that she is not yet ready to lose another friend after her celebrity friends Fanny Serrano and Cherie Gil passed away recently.

She also admitted that her faith is wavering amid all of the tragedies she has been facing.

“Family and friends…after Tita Fanny passed away, I was very, very afraid for Cherie and this one other friend who is also sick and who also means the world to me…I just found out that she is in the ICU now because of a ‘silent stroke.’

“Please, please pray with me for her healing…Lord kahit a few more years na lang po idagdag Niyo please sa buhay niya…Hindi ko na kaya. I am still in pieces over losing Cherie…Hindi ko na kaya. Please pray. My faith is wavering and I don’t want it to be…But this is just too much too soon…Wala nang pahinga ang puso ko sa sakit. Please, please pray for me…More than that, please pray for my friend. Thank you so much and please take care of yourselves,” Sharon posted.

Sharon Cuneta, also known as The Megastar, is a famous Filipina actress, singer, host, and endorser. She is the wife of Sen. Kiko Pangilinan and the mother of actress and entrepreneur KC Concepcion, whose father is actor Gabby Concepcion.

Sharon Cuneta is currently mourning the death of her close friend Cherie Gil. However, Sharon’s eldest child KC Concepcion came to the rescue to comfort her. The Megastar uploaded photos of her bonding moments with KC in America days after Cherie’s death. The heartwarming photos show KC making her mother smile and being affectionate with her in her time of sorrow.

She also took to Instagram and shared more emotional photos of her with Cherie Gil at the hospital. The Megastar's eyes were already puffy, perhaps from crying her heart out as she tries to comfort her best friend. She was also holding the frail hands of Cherie and one could see how the latter was clasping the same with her remaining strength. Sharon misses Cherie so much, and she said that she could not just imagine the days and the years without the premier actress.
