Lolit Solis, in one of her latest Instagram posts, expressed great sadness over the demise of premier actress Cherie Gil.

She said that it’s sad a person much younger than her would pass on from this world at such an early time.

The veteran columnist also said that she thought that since Cherie is younger, she’s much stronger, but it turns out that she could still go first because of cancer.

Manay Lolit then expressed gratitude that while she’s already 75 years old, she was still given a chance to continue living.

“Younger at mas inaakala ko na stronger pero mas nauna dahil sa sakit na cancer. Kaya nga alam ko na dapat thankful ako dahil 75 na ako and yet heto at nabibigyan pa ako ng pag asa,” she said.

She admitted that her only fault is that she always complains, though expressed gratitude her doctors are very understanding and kind to her.

“Talaga lang complaining person ako na wala ng ginawa kundi maghanap ng iri reklamo ko. Buti na lang mabait mga doktor ko, at matiyaga sa pagtingin sa akin, kundi, siguro, matagal na akong tsugi dahil sa mga reklamo ko, hah hah hah. God is good, always,” Manay Lolit said.

Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities.

Lolit Solis revealed that her doctors told her that she will have to undergo dialysis for the rest of her life. She admitted that she feels extremely bored and uncomfortable when undergoing dialysis. The entertainment columnist also joked that she would enjoy her dialysis sessions more if Bea Alonzo is with her. According to Lolit, she can look at the actor’s wrinkles and guess if those wrinkles made Gerald Anderson ghost her.

She has admitted that she is having a difficult time accepting that she is sick. However, Lolit believes that she will soon recover from her illness and that she will triumph in the end.
