RR Enriquez sa pagganap ni Jane de Leon bilang Darna: "Bland talaga yung dating"

RR Enriquez, in her latest interview with Ogie Diaz, has recently expressed her honest thoughts and opinions about Jane de Leon who will play Darna in the series of the same name.

At the beginning of her interview, KAMI learned that Ogie asked RR about her viral online post where she agreed with Cristy Fermin's sentiments about Jane.

Previously, Cristy made headlines when she said that there was something missing from Jane's appeal based on the trailer of the show.

According to RR, Jane is a talented individual who is beautiful and has a talent in dancing, however, she could not see Darna in the actress.

RR even mentioned Liza Soberano, who was initially cast to play the superhero but had to back out from the project due to her finger bone fracture.

"Sobrang okay siya pero nung nakita ko siya, yung sa trailer, magaling din siyang umarte pero hindi ko nakikita sa kanya yung character as Darna. I don't want to be judgmental, pero syempre, diba si Liza Soberano, diba? Parang iba yung effect niya eh kung siya yung magiging Darna. Parang hindi kailangan ni Liza Soberano na magpa-seksi para ipakitang Darna siya, parang Liza itself is okay na," she said.

At one point, RR even said that Jane's appeal, in her own opinion, feels bland and that there are other people like that as well.

"Si Jane, in my own opinion, bland talaga yung dating niya. Maganda siya pero meron naman talagang ganun eh," she said, nevertheless, RR hopes that Jane eventually proves she deserves the role when the series comes out.

RR Enriquez rose to popularity after appearing on the variety and game program Wowowee as one of the dancers. Along with Mariel Rodriguez and Valerie Concepcion, RR became one of the show's hosts. She appeared in the ABS-CBN comedy show Banana Split alongside Angelica Panganiban and Pokwang, among others.

As previously reported by KAMI, RR Enriquez opened up about how she and Jayjay Helterbrand prevent cheating in their relationship. The former “Wowowee” host shared that they protect their relationship the way they protect their house. She explained that they do not spend time with people who might influence them in a negative way.

Meanwhile, RR has a message for celebrities who are arguing due to their differences in political beliefs. Jayjay Helterbrand’s partner said that it is not worth it for people to fight and argue over politicians. The social media star explained that those politicians would not care if their supporters will get sick or face ordeals.
