Herlene Nicole Budol, also known as 'Hipon Girl', is an actress, comedian and social media star who broke through in showbiz as a contestant on “Wowowin”. She later became a host on the said program but had to leave it due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Her YouTube vlog now has over a million subscribers.
In a previous report by KAMI, Herlene "Hipon Girl" Budol's Higantes national costume worn during the Bb. Pilipinas was worth P300,000. This was revealed in a vlog of Herlene's manager, Wilbert Tolentino, and it was uploaded on YouTube. Aside from revealing the cost, the video also showed the intricacies involved in the creation of the natcos. The costume designer, Patrick Isorena, showed the processes and the pains it took to come up with the giant costume.
Earlier, Herlene "Hipon Girl" took to Instagram and shared how long it took to finish her national costume. According to the social media personality and Bb. Pilipinas candidate, it took 45 days to finish her giant costume. She said that the costume is 16-feet high, a giant whom she showcased at the New Frontier Theater. Along with her post, the Bb. Pilipinas candidate also encouraged everyone to subscribe to her YouTube channel, as well as that of Wilbert Tolentino's and Madam Inutz's.
