Cristy Fermin recently reacted to bashings that Pokwang has been receiving amid news about the latter and Lee O’Brian’s breakup.

In the latest episode of Cristy Ferminute, the showbiz reporter reacted to remarks that what happened to Pokwang was "karma".

“Itigil na po natin 'yung paghusga kay Pokwang na karma po ang nangyari sa paghiwalay nila ni Lee O'Brian,” Cristy urged the bashers.

She also stressed, “Wala pong karma dito, 'wag po nating gamitin ang terminong karma.”

The veteran entertainment columnist then continued, “Ito po ay isang relasyon na ang nagdesisyon ay silang dalawa lamang. Labas po ang mga outside forces, ika nga natin. Mga taong walang kinalaman sa kanilang relasyon, hindi po kasali dito, silang dalawa lang.

“Kaya tama na po 'yang mga karma karma,” Nay Cristy added.

Pokwang is among the most well-loved comediennes in the industry. Her frank and motherly ways are always "patok" among Filipinos. She used to be with ABS-CBN but moved to GMA during the pandemic.

Pokwang has finally confirmed her split with Lee O'Brian via an online post. On her Instagram account, the celebrity mom said she and Lee are better off as friends. According to Pokwang, she and her former partner actually ended on good terms. Needless to say, Pokwang said that her late mom, Gloria, serves as her inspiration for being a strong mother.

Pokwang took to the comments section of her IG account and responded to a basher who said that what happened to Pokwang was "karma" and even said that it is the reason why the comedienne is bitter now. Pokwang said that it was not karma, rather God only paved the path toward a better partner.
