Lolit Solis, in a lengthy post on Instagram, reacted to Ruffa Gutierrez’s role in Darryl Yap’s upcoming movie, “Maid in Malacañang”.

The actress and former beauty queen will play the role of Imelda Marcos in the intriguing film.

In her post, the veteran showbiz columnist then said Ruffa’s role really suits her.

“Bagay kay Ruffa Gutierrez iyon role niya as Imelda Marcos Salve. Sa ayos at make up parang hawig na nga sila. At ang gandang magdala ng terno ni Ruffa ha.”

Manay Lolit also expressed her honest thoughts on the movie.

“Kaya exciting siguro na mapanuod ito. Lalo pa nga ngayon na ang Presidente natin si BBM, at madalas mo na naman makita si Imelda Marcos. Timely ang project at talagang siguro nga baka ito ang bumuhay sa showbiz. Kahit sabihin mo pang ibang era na ang Marcos, marami parin excited sa buhay nila. Full circle na after Ferdinand Marcos Sr., heto at ang kanyang Jr na si Bongbong ang nasa Malacanang ngayon.”
