Jake Ejercito, in a media conference, revealed that his mom, Laarni Enriquez, was surprised on learning the actor’s role in his new TV series.

During the mediacon, he was asked what was the reaction of his mom when she learned about his character.
He said that his mom was surprised, particularly when she saw the trailer.
Jake then admitted that he never told his mom about what his role was in the new TV series.

The actor said that when Laarni learned about his role, particularly when she saw one specific scene in the trailer, she was surprised.
“’Yung reaction ng mom ko lalo na sa trailer, nagulat siya. Kasi I didn’t tell her about it, e, kung paano ’yung character ko. Sabi ko lang playboy. So, noong nakita niya that specific scene na nasama sa trailer, nagulat din siya,” Jake said.
He also said, however, that his mom is also excited to see the show because Jake’s character there is unique.
“But she’s excited kasi talagang kakaiba itong si Seb Estrella,” Jake said.
In the series, ‘A Family Affair,’ Jake plays Seb Estrella, one of the four Estrella siblings who got entangled in the web of drama and mystery with their adopted sister, Cherry Red, played by Ivana Alawi.
Jake Ejercito is a Pinoy actor who appeared in several movies including Marry Me, Marry You, Mansyon, and Coming Home. He was born on March 27, 1990, to actress Laarni Enriquez and actor-turned-politician, former President Joseph “Erap” Ejercito Estrada. He is the father of Ellie Eigenmann, his daughter with Andi Eigenmann.
The actor recently wrote his reaction on the post of co-star Ivana Alawi showing the actress in a photoshoot sporting a short hair. Jake commented “gwaps,” which in English translates to beautiful or lovely. The lovely pics from the photoshoot have gone viral on social media, particularly on Instagram. It also received numerous comments not only from netizens but also from famous celebrities.
Jake, along with Ivana and other co-stars in the new series, ‘A Family Affair,’ have made their guest appearance on ‘ASAP Natin ‘To’ recently. The actor uploaded some photos from their guesting on social media. The celebrity dad also shared an adorable photo of himself with Ivana Alawi. In the viral photo, he can be seen escorting Ivana, who is dressed in a long gown.
