Marian Rivera is a very effective endorser because of the way her followers act after seeing their idol use some products, Lolit Solis said.

The veteran showbiz columnist also expressed her opinion that this could be among the reasons why there are some products that get imitated.
She said that original items are sometimes very expensive and some enterprising manufactures might have gotten the idea of creating an imitation product at a lower cost to cater to many of endorsers’ followers.

“Natawa ako sa sinulat mo na basta sinuot ng isang fashionable na actress ang isang bagay, for sure sa susunod na mga araw may lalabas ng imitation ng alahas niya,” Manay Lolit wrote.
“Ginaya na agad dahil marami nga nagkagusto kaya gusto bumili agad ng katulad ng gamit niyang jewelry. Eh iyon talaga mga investment ng actress, dahil nga basta nagustuhan niya, buy niya kahit mahal,” she added.
Manay Lolit praised the unnamed endorser for having such a good taste when it comes to products she uses.
“Bongga nga at talagang maganda ang taste niya, kaya marami ang gusto ng mga ginagamit niya,” the veteran showbiz columnist said.
She then compared her to actress Marian Rivera whose endorsements also become subject to imitation.
“Sabihin na natin tulad ni Marian Rivera iyon lahat ng gamit nagkakaruon ng imitation dahil binibili ng nga followers niya, damit, alahas, bags at sapatos, ginagaya ng mga sellers para sa mga naghahanap na followers niya na gusto meron din sila ng ginamit ni Marian Rivera,” she said.
Manay Lolit then praised Marian for being such a good and effective endorser.

Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities. She was also involved in the infamous 1994 Manila Film Scandal, where she induced several actors and actresses to announce different names as winners.
Recently, the veteran columnist also praised the good chemistry of Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera. She said that the new sitcom that the real-life couple is starring in really fits the two. Manay Lolit said that even though Dingdong is the serious-type of guy, he also has funny bones, while Marian has a great sense of humor. The columnist lauded the sitcom because of its fresh comedy lines and scenes.
Previously, Lolit also praised Marian, saying that the actress is one of the top endorsers in the country. The showbiz reporter also compared Marian to “another endorser,” saying that the latter does not have Marian’s beauty and professionalism. Furthermore, Lolit claimed that the “other endorser” will not be renewed by a certain company because of the supposedly poor sales of the products she is endorsing. She then urged companies to just get Marian as an endorser for their products and to not bother with the “other endorser.”
