Lolit Solis, 74, has stirred buzz all over social media after writing a lengthy post about Kapamilya actress, Andrea Brillantes and her "gimmicks."

On Thursday, May 5, KAMI learned that the veteran columnist said that Andrea's "gimmicks" were "over the top."

In her viral post, Lolit expressed her admiration for the actress's confidence when it comes to her "gimmicks."

According to Lolit, perhaps Andrea's confidence with her gimmicks has something to do with her age, seeing as she is still young.

"Hanga ako sa confidence ni Andrea Brillantes sa sarili niya, Salve. Talagang over the top mga gimmick niya, make up, outfit, salita, basta maloka ka na feeling in na in ang dating niya. Siguro nga meron tapang dahil bata pa, kaya keber ang kilos at salita niya."

However, the veteran columnist said that it is still too early for the actress to do such things, especially since the attention span of people are short nowadays.

"Pero masyado siyang maaga gumimik ng ganoon, sandali lang attention span ngayon, baka after a year lang laos na ang gimmick niya. Sana she acted and just be herself muna dahil bata pa siya, dahan dahan ang ginawa niya, hindi biglaan."

At the end of her post, Lolit said, "OK din siya magisip ng gimmick, bongga, sana makatulong sa career niya. Maging brilliant sana ang Andrea Brillantes."
