Baron Geisler admits alcohol relapse: “I am an alcoholic”

During the said interview, Baron confirmed that he had an alcohol relapse after being sober for a long time.
The actor explained that he is an alcoholic who has to get severely drunk every time he tastes it. He also sees it now as a disease like diabetes wherein it is important to continuously treat and manage it.
“May allergic reaction po ako sa utak ko sa alak, I cannot stop. Once na matikman ko siya kailangan apat na araw po hanggang sa hindi na ako makatayo,” Baron said.

Fortunately, Baron is voluntarily going through rehabilitation to address his problem. He also confirmed that he has not split from his wife Jamie although they are physically taking a break from each other to resolve their personal issues on their own. Baron also admitted that he was wrong in uploading a video of his wife getting angry at him. Jamie revealed earlier that she was mad at Baron because of his alcohol relapse.
Baron Geisler is a celebrity known for his intensity and versatility as an actor. He used to get into a lot of troubles and controversies before turning his life around. The actor is now in a relationship with a psychologist named Jamie Evangelista and they have a daughter named Talitha.
After many years of getting into trouble and controversies, Baron Geisler tried turning his life around. According to the actor, it was Christianity that helped him change his life. He promised to be a devout Christian after getting jailed due to his past reckless behavior.
He also improved his professional career with a popular turn on the ABS-CBN show “Ang Probinsyano.” Furthermore, Baron Geisler put up a new business that he is passionate about – a barbershop in the province.
