In the latest episode of Cristy Ferminute, the veteran showbiz reporter said that the two beauty queens’ have the right to choose for their bets but their stature as former Miss Universe title-holders have no bearing.
“Eto na, sumali na nga rin sa pulitika. Nagpahayag na rin si Catriona Gray at si Pia Wurtzbach na sila ay Kakampink.”
“Lahat tayo ay mayroong kalayaan na pumili ng kung sino ang para sa atin ay dapat maluklok. 'Yung demokrasya, pinaiiral po ngayon 'yan, lagi-lagi, inuunawa ko. Kaya lang ang tanong, kapag may dalawang babae ba, dalawang beauty queen sa isang partido, mata-translate ba 'yun sa boto? Oh, diba? Sabihin niyo, mananalo na ba kapag mayroong dalawang Miss Universe?”
Cristy furthermore added, “Wala po 'yan sa pagandahan. Wala po 'yan sa pasikatan. Ang lahat po ng pinapangarap ng mga politikong tumatakbo ngayon, nakasalalay po sa kamay ng sambayanang Pilipino.”

Cristy also said there are vloggers who claim that she and Lolit are currently not on good terms. Nanay Cristy said that these content creators were making her and Manay Lolit’s contradicting opinions on Bea Alonzo a big deal. Nanay Cristy then clarified that her friendship with Manay Lolit is not facing any problem.
