Pia Wurtzbach, rumesbak sa mga bashers na gumagawa ng isyu ukol sa kanya at kay Catriona Gray: “Bakit ako?”

Pia Wurtzbach broke her silence and slammed those alleged to be bashing her.

The supposed bashers were allegedly making issues between her and 2018 Ms. Universe Catriona Gray.
In a now-deleted post, the purported basher that goes by the handle of “kingeugine” on social media said that “Pia and her team are attacking Catriona from behind.
“I think pia and her team are attacking @catriona_gray behind hmmm that makes me realize na sobrang galing ng performance ni @guiterrrezary hmm i think she deserve the blue crown,” the supposed basher wrote in a now-deleted post.

Screenshots of the said post, along with the replies of Pia, were screengrabbed by Fashionpulis and reposted on the entertainment news’ site.
In her reply, Pia lamented how she’s always dragged into such controversies.
“@kingeugine Hi Eugine! May tanong ako, bakit pag ganito laging AKO una nyong naiisip na pasimuno? Bakit ako?” Pia asked.

The 2015 Ms. Universe also wrote that she doesn’t have the kind of team as described by alleged bashers.
“@kingeugine Hi Eugine. Wala po akong "team." Glam team siguro meron. Personal na team ko that handles my schedules & anything business related, meron. Pero wala akong "team" or attack dogs tulad ng iniinsinuate mo. At lalong wala akong intention ever na mang "attack" ng ibang tao,” Pia wrote in reply.
“Usually I just ignore messages like this kasi di naman totoo but years na ito paulit ulit nalang. And if other people are not gonna defend you or speak on your behalf, you have to speak up and defend yourself. I don't know why people really believe that I have a "team" and that I actually aim to attack and tear other people down,” the former 2015 Ms. Universe added.

Pia also lamented that it would seem they’re being pitted against each other.
“@kingeugine, I get messages like these allll the time. and honestly nakakapagod na. Why can't we just celebrate ALL WOMEN? ALL Queens? Bakit kailangan may "team" nila, "team" ko? Tapos may mga imaginary scenarios pa in your head that were all at war?” she further wrote.
The former Ms. Universe then said she always tries to be good to everyone and that she already “graduated” from pageants.
Towards the end of her reply, Pia wished happiness for the supposed basher.
“Sana maging masaya ka narin at tanggalin mo na yang pait sa puso mo,” Pia said.

The former Ms. Universe has endured a lot of bashings and body-shaming. Recently, she took to her Instagram Stories and gave advice to a netizen who was thinking that she would not become beautiful anymore. The reason for such was that she is fat and seems to have no hopes of getting thin. The Miss Universe 2015 said that a person is beautiful no matter what her size is. She also narrated that she has experienced the same struggle and that it took her a while to get over it, but it can be done.
Previously, she also took to the comments section of her Instagram and responded to a netizen who said that she deserves to have COVID. She was aghast at the accusation of the netizen who stated such, that she deserved it simply because she traveled. "Kilabutan sana kayo sa mga sinasabi niyo," the Miss Universe 2015 stated. She also wished that whoever was saying it would not actually experience it.
