Diether Ocampo figured in a car accident early morning on Friday along Osmeña Highway, Brgy. Pio del Pilar, Makati City.

KAMI learned from DZRH News that the accident happened at around 12:40 a.m. on February 4.
Unfortunately, the actor's Ford Explorer collided with a truck that was parked temporarily at that time, as workers were collecting garbage. The report added that no one was injured inside the truck but the actor was hurt.
Diether was immediately rescued by The Philippine Red Cross and is currently in the hospital to receive immediate medical care. Moreover, some photos and videos of him when he was rescued have been circulating on social media.

Diether Ocampo is a well-known Filipino actor, singer, military officer, and model. Given what an icon he was in the 90s and a legend in showbiz. Ocampo joined the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary in 2019. He works with the PCGA as a lieutenant commander. Aside from that, he has completed the Seafarer's Training Program. He also studied pulmonary therapy while he was at it.
Ocampo began his dance career in the early 1990s. ABS-CBN discovered him as a potential candidate for an actor's role during a talent search that took place between 1995 and 1996. He joined the Star Circle Batch II a year later.
