In January 28 and 29 episodes of ‘It’s Showtime”, it was revealed during its ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ segment that Ryan courted the singer-songwriter back in 2010.
However, Ryan “ghosted” her after some time although Yeng did not reject the comedian.
Ryan explained that he stopped pursuing Yeng for he thought the singer would never like him. Yen then confessed that she actually got sad when Ryan stopped pursuing her.

Amid their trending romantic history, Yeng and Ryan had a heartwarming exchange of tweets.
“Ryan ‘Ayan ah. Venti na hindi na yung grande.’ Hahahahah!!!! Thanks Ryan! @ryanbang,” Yeng posted along with a photo of them together.
To which Ryan responded, “Kaya ko na ngayon ng Venti size hehe Bawi ako sayo dinner tayo soon! Always keep safe yeng!”
“Game ako dyan! Stay safe din Ryan!” Yen replied.
