During It’s Showtime’s December 13, 2021 episode, the Unkabogable Phenomenal Star and his co-hosts talked about the 70th edition of the prestigious pageant.
Vice Ganda said he was still happy although Beatrice Luigi Gomez fell short in taking home the Miss Universe 2021 crown.
He then went on to commend Marian, who was among the members of the pageant’s selection committee.

“Pero kahit hindi napatungan ng crown si Beatrice, panalo pa rin ang ‘Pelipins’ dahil ang pinakamaganda si Marian,” Vice Ganda stressed.
“'Di ba, ang ganda ni Marian, nakaka-proud.”
“Sabi ko nga, sayang sana ano e, pinagsayaw ng 'Sabay-Sabay Tayo'. Nakakatuwa,” he aired in jest.

Marian Rivera Gracia-Dantes, simply known as Marian Rivera, is a prominent Pinay actress, philanthropist, endorser, and television host. She was born on August 12, 1984. Marian rose to stardom after playing the role of Marimar and also the role of superheroine Darna. She also starred in several Kapuso series such as Dyesebel, Amaya, and Temptation of Wife. The actress tied the knot with Dingdong Dantes in 2014. They now have two children, Zia and Ziggy.
Dingdong has gained praises after a video of him documenting Marian as one of the Miss Universe 2021 judges became viral. The actor, being a supportive husband, then spread “kilig” vibes to their fans.
Kris Aquino also praised Marian for bringing pride to the country as a Miss Universe judge. In an Instagram post, the Kapuso actress expressed that she had a great experience as a member of the pageant’s selection committee. It could then be noticed in the comment section that Kris complimented Marian’s beauty and grace. The Queen of All Media also said that she loved the color of her inaanak’s gown.
