Marian was chosen to judge the 70th Miss Universe happening on December 12, 2021 in Israel. The 37-year-old actress confirmed the news in a media conference held on December 3. According to Marian, she felt "honored" to be part of the prestigious pageant’s selection committee.

The photos were taken during Marian and Dingdong Dantes’ flight going to Israel where the actress will sit as one of the Miss Universe 2021 judges.
