The beauty doctor recounted the conversation that really struck her when she was 12 years old.
“When I was 12 years old, pumunta sakin 'yung father ko. Sabi niya 'Hija, can you do me a favor?' 'Sure daddy, what?' 'Can you make our name famous?' I said 'Why?' Then he said kasi everybody spells our name wrong, kasi everybody spells Belo, a lot of people, even to this day, B-E-L-L-O. 'Hija, di'ba napakasimple naman? Belo,” said Vicki.

After that conversation, she started to write down Belo in almost everything.
According to Vicki, she's just happy that before her father passed away, he already saw that the name has become famous.
Dra. Vicki Belo is a famous dermatologist and television personality in the Philippines and is the founder, CEO, and Medical Director of Belo Medical Group. She is married to fellow doctor Hayden Kho and they have a child named Scarlet Snow Belo.
Dr. Vicki Belo was recently a guest of Ogie Diaz and was interviewed by the comedian-host. In the latter's vlog, Vicki revealed so much of herself and shared what makes her happy in her profession. She said that it was the positive feedback from her clients that really make her happy and money is just a secondary factor. The beauty doctor then stated that it is because she can relate to the problems or beauty issues of women who do not feel confident simply because of their looks.
Vicki Belo has recently been interviewed by Ogie Diaz on his official YouTube channel. During their interview, the celebrity dermatologist revealed how she requested Scarlet from Hayden Kho. According to Vicki, she has always wanted to have a "real Belo baby" aside from her children—Quark and Crystal Henares. In the video, Vicki also shared that Hayden tried to ask her if Scarlet can use his name after they got married but she rejected it.
