In today’s episode of Cristy Ferminute, the veteran columnist discussed about the criticisms that the couple has been receiving.
“May mga kaibigan kasi ko, hindi na nila tanggap, kasi panahon ng milenyal, 'yung mga pagpo-post nila ng retrato. 'Yung sa Florida, 'yung kay Cherry Pie. Para silang nahihilasan, 'di ba, parang 'Ano ba naman ang dalawang 'to,' mga ganyan. Kasi nga, hindi nila tanggap.”
“Saka ganyan ang mga reaksyon, 'Diyos ko, ano ba naman 'tong mga 'to, katatanda na e,” she shared.
Nanay Cristy then went on to defend Edu and Cherry Pie.
“E bakit naman, may karapatan namang lumigaya silang dalawa, 'di ba? At kung talaga namang nagmamahalan sila, sino naman tayo para humarang?”
“Hindi naman masama. Pareho naman silang malayang magmahal,” Cristy added
Cherry Pie Picache is a veteran actress known for her great dramatic skills. Some of her most famous projects include Hiram na Mukha, Pangarap na Bituin, and Iisa Pa Lamang.
Edu Manzano, on the other hand, is an actor, comedian, politician, and the television host of game shows such as The Weakest Link, Pilipinas, Game KNB?, 1 vs. 100, and Asar Talo Lahat Panalo.
Edu and Cherry Pie Picache have been under the spotlight due to their sweet photos together. The said photos taken during their recent New York trip sparked rumors that they are dating. It was also reported that Edu and his girlfriend, Iryne Garcia, are no longer following each other on Instagram. The actor then confirmed to Kapatid news anchor Cheryl Cosim that he and Cherry Pie are currently in a relationship.
Edu and Cherry Pie are spreading “kilig” vibes once again due to their new cozy photos online. The veteran actress uploaded the said photos, taken in Florida, on her Instagram page on Saturday. In the snapshots, the couple could be seen doing some sweet poses. In the comment section, their fans could not help gushing over the lovely pictures.
