Melissa Ricks, 31, recently earned praises from the online community for keeping it real with her viral online post on Instagram about gaining weight.
On Saturday, November 27, KAMI learned that the former actress posted a "Reality vs. Expectation" photo of herself on social media.
The said photo was taken during her much-needed break time at the Tropicana Castle Resort Hotel in Puerto Galera.

In the first photo, Melissa posted a photo of herself smiling brightly as she posed candidly for the camera.

Meanwhile, in the second photo, Melissa flaunted her body, posing elegantly in the picture which was taken at a different angle.
According to the celebrity mom, back in the day, she was made to believe that gaining weight was supposed to be bad.
Eventually, she discovered that it no longer matters. Emphasizing that what one feels is what should matter the most.
"Reality vs Expectation. I was made to believe gaining weight was bad. What I discovered is that doesn’t really matter. How you feel, your peace, and your happiness is what really matters. We all change over time, thats okay, thats great actually! Just make sure you're content and happy. We are too blessed to be streesed! Enjoy the weekend guys!"
