Earlier, Angel posted a comment about the need for authorities to protect witnesses against Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.
The evangelist, along with two of his close associates, were charged in a US court for alleged trafficking and exploitation of young women.

Pastor Quiboloy is the founder of Kingdom of Jesus Christ, The Name Above Every Name church, which is based in Davao City.
He is also a known supporter and spiritual adviser of President Rodrigo Duterte.
In her comment, Angel talked about the need for witnesses against Pastor Quiboloy to be protected.
“Minor = Exploitation. Sana maprotektahan agad yung mga naglakas loob na magsalita,” Angel said.
A netizen immediately posted his reply to Angel’s comment, which questioned the personality of the actress, and also dragged the name of actress Valerie Concepcion.
“@therealangellocsin Ay wow. Malinis ka? E diba ikaw yung tumatakas sa taping dati sa GMA para makipagkita sa dyowa mo at makipagdyugdyugan? Tanong pa natin si Valerie Concepcion,” the basher said.
The actress did not let the comment of the basher pass without her making a reply.
“Huy wag kang mag imbento ng issue para may pagtakpan. Tag ko pa si @v_concepcion o. hindi ko ikamamatay yang chismis mo. magdasal ka,” Angel said, tagging Valerie.
Valerie advised Angel not to mind the basher.
“Naku mare @therealangellocsin. Obvious na troll lang yan. Wag mo na lang pansinin. Ang layo sa issue ng comment eh. Mema lang,” Valerie said.
Angel is among the many celebrities who commented on the charges filed against Pastor Quiboloy.
