Dimples Romana wasn’t able to stop tears from flowing down her eyes after watching the birthday greeting video of her BFF, Angel Locsin.

Though they already know each other before, their closeness as friends began in 2008, when both of them appeared on the TV series, ‘Lobo.’
While her birthday was last November 13, Maganday Buhay, which is the morning show of ABS-CBN where Dimples appeared as a guest on November 19, decided to celebrate her birthday again.
“Gusto lang kitang batiin at gusto kong ipaalam sa lahat ng nakakanood nito na hindi n’yo pa alam kung gaano kabait si Ms. Dimples Romana,” said Angel in the video.

Angel also said that for her, Dimples is a superhero, which is why she’s happy for all blessings she received.
“Binibiro ko nga s’ya kung ako si Darna, ikaw talaga ang superhero ko, ikaw ang idol ko,” Angel said.
Angel also joked that she’s both a fan and basher to her friend.
“Ito ako, kaibigan mo, number one fan, number one basher. Haha!” Angel added.
She then assured Dimples that she would always be honest to her and defend her at all times, and would always cover her back no matter what.
Dimples could not help but cry at Angel’s touching words. She also remarked that Angel is the only “Darna” for her.
“P’wede ba ’yon? S’ya nga ang nag-iisang Darna sa akin… Angel is my hero because during the time when I was going through the lowest, lowest of my life Angel came at the right time and she gave me strength,” Dimples said.
She also said that she loves Angel like a sister.
“Pero ’yong pagmamahal ko sa kanya grabe. Sobra, higit pa sa kapatid,” Dimples said.
Dimples Romana is a well-known Filipina actress who was acclaimed for her portrayal of Daniela Mondragon, who has become a well-known character in the Philippines, in the television series "Kadenang Ginto".
