Angeline Quinto revealed she was approached by several people to run for public office but she declined.

The singer-actress, who was born in Sampaloc, Manila, said there were offers for her to run for councilor there.
According to a report by the Inquirer, Angeline turned these offers down because she believe she does not possess the knowledge to hold a public position.
“To be honest, there are some people asking, especially in Sampaloc, but I declined … I don’t want to enter something I don’t know anything about,” she firmly said.

Angeline said she’s clueless on what she’s going to do if in case she does run and gets elected.
“Ayoko naman ng ganun. Baka mamaya, ano lang ang gawin ko doon!” the singer-actress said during a virtual conference for her concert “10Q: Ten Years of Angeline Quinto.”
A report by Philippine Star, quoted Angeline as saying there were people who approached her as early as two years ago urging her to run for councilor in Sampaloc.
However, when she asked for advice from her Mama Bob back then when she was still alive, her adoptive mother would tell her to focus on her career.
“She told me, ‘It’s too early for that. And why would you enter politics when you already have your hands full with work?’” Angeline recalled her Mama Bob telling her.
The singer-actress said though that she’s not closing her door to politics if it would ever come to that in the future.
For now, she said she would concentrate on work and her newfound love life.
In an ABS-CBN news report, Angeline admitted during an interview with Karen Davila that someone is making her heart happy.
As to who it is, only Angeline knows. With regards to whether she would join politics in the future, only time will tell.

Recently, Angeline took the time to post pictures of her Mama Bob, revealing how much she loves her. The actress has been very open about how her Mama Bob has been the one who saw her through. Even though her Mama is not her biological mother, she loves her dearly for she was the one who really took care of the singer. Now that she's gone, the actress can't help but miss her and would take the time to tell her that she really loves.
Veteran broadcaster Karen Davila in the past visited Angeline's house and the visit was truly an awesome time for two wonderful and kind souls. She was given a tour of her walk-in closet which was enormous and has a lot of shelves all filled with beautiful pairs of shoes. The singer-actress showed her one awesome pair of 7-inch heels, which she said would only work for photoshoots because you can hardly walk in them. Karen was clearly amazed at the height of the shoe and grew all the more astounded when Angeline tried it on.
